Principal's Message

Welcome Cavalier Families,

I hope this site introduces you to our school and the learning environment we create to challenge our students each day.  Santiago High School is a school rich in tradition but seeking to create and provide new opportunities for all of our students.  The world we live in is ever changing with new opportunities and challenges.  The staff members of Santiago are talented and committed to the academic, personal, and future success of each student.  Our goals align with the Vision and Mission of the Garden Grove Unified School District.

GGUSD Vision: We are committed to preparing all students to be successful and responsible citizens who contribute and thrive in a diverse society.
GGUSD Mission: To ensure student success, we will provide a rigorous and supportive academic experience that motivates all learners to meet high expectations.

The staff of Santiago has developed engaging College and Career pathways in a rich supportive environment.  As our students mature it is important we all encourage them to reach out and test their skills to develop new interests.  These co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities will make their high school career enriching and memorable and help them discover who they are and who they want to become.  Students need to take the opportunity to challenge themselves, and apply their skills which will in turn set themselves apart to ensure colleges and future employers take notice.
