Athletic Clearance
All eligibility packets must be completed prior to participating in summer camps, tryouts, or practices. To ensure the student-athlete is cleared for all seasons of sports for 2026-27, Santiago Athletics recommend the physical to be dated May 15th or after. This will prevent your student-athlete from potentially having his/her season interrupted because of eligibility.
All athletes/parents must complete the athletic clearance process (make sure to select Santiago Garden Grove and not Santiago Corona) by registering on www.athleticclearance.com.
Once registered, you may login and complete all the necessary steps for clearance.
In addition to these clearance steps, Santiago will also need to have a copy of the physical examination on file. You may either drop off a hard copy to the front office or scan a copy into your profile on athleticclearance.com. A physical examination form is available for download below:
ALL students interested in participating on an athletic team MUST complete the athletic clearance process and receive confirmation of clearance to play. A 2.0 GPA is required of all athletes to be eligible for participation and must be maintained throughout the season of sport.
NEW PLAYERS - You must have an Acknowledgement of Risk form filled out to participate.
