  1. Collect any Graduation Speeches (from students who didn't turn it in on Monday).
  2. Remind students that interviews are tomorrow (dress to impress). Bring cover letter, resume, and application neatly stapled together- stapler is not going to be available after 7:55am.  Come prepared!
  3. Students will develop 10 interview questions that they would ask their Interviewee- the person hoping to get the job (they need to be open ended, which means a lengthy answer can be given.  Not a closed ended question like, "What's your favorite subject?" because the answer is short: English.  Try this as more open ended, "Tell me about your education?".  It's important that they think about what questions will be asked so they too can plan their interview.
  4. When they are done, please write the time + initial the top paper and allow them to practice with their partner.  Encourage them to hurry because the more they practice, the better they will look tomorrow (for the real interview).  Remind them about Dressing for Success (no jeans or t-shirts, etc.)  You can allow them to keep their papers to practice, but they must bring it tomorrow to use in their interview.

"Harrison Bergeron" is a satirical and dystopian science-fiction short story written by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. and first published in October 1961.
