Consider these facts: Poe's foster father was Scottish, and the Montresor motto is the motto of Scotland. Also, like Fortunado, John Allan was a businessman and a Mason. Cite specific examples from Poe's biography and from the story.

- Each group gets 1 essay prompt. Create a Do/What chart for it. Then, complete the Essay Outline (you received yesterday) on a separate sheet of paper. Write Body A together. Then, one person gets: Intro, Body B, Body C, and Conclusion. 7 minutes to write your paragraph! (We will peer edit tomorrow).

- Create Do/What charts #4-6. Left side: list all verbs. Right side: paraphrase the directions in your own words. When done, put a line through all the obvious directions. Put stars by the important ones.
