AVID is an award-winning, national program designed to help students “in the middle” succeed and enter 4-year colleges and universities directly out of high school. “B”, “C” and even sometimes “D” students are placed in a rigorous, college-prep curriculum, but are also constantly tutored by their peers and specially trained college students. Additionally, students and their families are guided through the college application, scholarship and financial aid processes.
